Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Your journey starts in Arusha with an early morning drive or flight to Serengeti National Park. Along the way, there’s a chance to spot wildlife as you enter the park. The afternoon is all about game drives, looking for lions, elephants, giraffes, and other animals that roam freely. As the sun sets, head to your camp or lodge for dinner and rest.
Day 2: Serengeti Balloon Safari & Game Drives
Before dawn, you’ll be taken to the launch site for the Serengeti balloon safari. As the balloon rises, the landscape opens up beneath you, showing herds of animals moving through the golden grasslands. The flight lasts about an hour, followed by a bush breakfast with fresh food and warm drinks.
The rest of the day is spent on game drives, tracking the Big Five and witnessing the raw beauty of Serengeti. Depending on the season, you might catch part of the Great Migration, with thousands of wildebeest and zebras on the move. After a full day in the wild, return to your camp or lodge.
Day 3: Morning Safari & Return to Arusha
On your final morning, there’s time for one last game drive. Early hours are great for spotting predators like lions and leopards before they retreat from the heat. After breakfast, start the journey back to Arusha by road or a short flight, arriving in the afternoon.
