Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Tarangire National Park
The adventure begins with a drive to Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. The open savannah is home to zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and big cats. Kids will love spotting animals along the Tarangire River, where many gather to drink. A picnic lunch is served in the park, followed by an afternoon game drive before heading to the lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, the journey continues to Serengeti National Park, a place known for endless plains and incredible wildlife. The drive offers great views and chances to spot animals along the way. By the afternoon, the family is deep in the Serengeti, where lions, cheetahs, and herds of antelope roam freely. The evening ends with a warm meal at the lodge, where kids can listen to the sounds of the wild before bedtime.

Day 3: Full-Day in Serengeti & Drive to Ngorongoro
A full day in the Serengeti means more game drives and incredible wildlife sightings. Early morning is the best time to see big cats on the hunt. There’s plenty of time to take photos, watch elephants move in family groups, or see hippos in waterholes. After lunch, the journey continues toward Ngorongoro, with an overnight stay near the crater rim.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater & Return
The final day starts with an early descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the best places to see the “Big Five” in one day. The crater is home to rhinos, lions, elephants, and thousands of flamingos around the soda lake. After a morning game drive and lunch by the hippo pool, the drive back to Arusha begins, marking the end of an unforgettable Tanzania family safari.
